Print collateral is the half of a booth that leaves with the visitor. A conversation at the aisle ends with something in a hand — a card, a flyer, a folded brochure — and that piece is what gets read on the flight home, long after the display has been packed away. We produce all of it on the same trade print network as our large format work, so the colour on a business card matches the colour on the backdrop standing behind you. 16pt matte business cards, 80lb uncoated flyers and 80lb uncoated brochures, printed to order and proofed before they run.
Marketing essentials are the printed collateral a visitor takes away from your booth — business cards, flyers and brochures. Apex produces them on the same trade print network as its large format displays, so the colour on a 16pt matte card matches the backdrop behind it.

A display works for the length of the show; a printed piece works after it. Every real conversation at the aisle ends with something going into a hand or a bag, and that piece is what gets read on the flight home, weeks after the booth has been packed into its case. Budget for it as part of the booth rather than as an afterthought, because a booth with nothing to hand out puts the entire cost of the show on whether the visitor remembers a name.
They are not interchangeable. A business card exists to survive a pocket and produce a phone number later, which is why weight matters more than design surface: 16pt matte is thick enough not to soften and matte enough to write on. A flyer is a single sheet doing one job — one offer, one show, one deadline — and it is the piece you print in quantity and expect to be discarded. A brochure folds, which buys the space to explain something the flyer cannot, and it is the piece a serious enquiry takes away.
Colour is the thing that gives away collateral ordered somewhere else. Large format graphics and small format collateral are printed by different processes, on different stock, and a brand blue set on a fabric backdrop rarely lands the same way on an uncoated card unless the two are produced together. Ordering both here puts them on the same trade print network, which is the practical way to keep a booth looking like one brand rather than several. Supply CMYK artwork, not Pantones, and check the proof against your display files.
16pt is the thickness of the card stock — noticeably heavier than the 14pt most desktop print shops run, which is what stops a card softening in a pocket. Matte is the finish: no gloss, no glare under booth lighting, and a surface you can actually write a note on.
A weight and a finish. 80lb is a text-weight paper with enough body that a flyer does not feel flimsy in the hand. Uncoated means no gloss layer, so the sheet takes a pen, reads without glare, and looks closer to stationery than to a supermarket leaflet.
That is the reason to order both from one supplier. Large format and small format are printed by different processes on different stock, so an exact match is never automatic — but producing them on the same network, from the same CMYK artwork, is what keeps a booth looking like one brand. Check the free proof against your display files before approving.
A single-page PDF or JPEG per piece, built to the finished size at 150dpi, in CMYK with no Pantones or spot colours, fonts converted to outlines, and no crop marks or bleeds. The artwork guidelines cover the full specification, and every order is proofed before it runs.
Yes. Cards, flyers and brochures are ordered on their own like anything else in the catalogue. Most customers order them alongside a booth because of the colour matching, but there is no requirement to.
